Job Description

Reporting to : Senior GM

Location : Sohar

Role & Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for Achievement of Sales & Collection targets of the company through a team of Sales Managers, Area Manager/Sales Executives and Marketing In charge/Executive.
  • Co-ordinate with supply chain, logistics, administration, commercial and factory departments to ensure smooth operations. Based in the Sohar factory, to get actively involved in the production planning and FG inventory of the company and coordinate with other departments for quality /production /logistics related issues.
  • Ensure a healthy network through appointment of good dealers/ distributor across the different geographies (GCC, Levant & Africa).
  • To regularly travel and meet existing clients and to ensure the good relationship with them
  • To regularly travel and explore new geographical market for al Maha
  • Toe stablish Al Maha in project and institutional segment and to add new clients based on his / her back ground and experience.
  • Ensure Profitable Sales which are in line with the target gross margin/prices of the company.
  • Ensure compliance to the credit control policy of the company and ensure debtors number of days does not increase and reduce overdue outstanding/bad debts.
  • Lead the marketing & sales activities including new product development, marketing communication, displays at exhibitions, sales promotions,, brand strategy etc.
  • Ensuring all approvals related to consultants and other Government authorized bodies are made in a proper and timely manner.


Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor Degree with MBA, with minimum 15 years experience in the field of Sales and good exposure to Marketing as the core.
  • Arabic speaking
  • Should have experience of senior level in the Sales & Marketing function of a medium/large sized manufacturing company , preferably in the tiles or building material industry
  • Experience of working in GCC markets / Export markets would be preferred.
  • Exposure to brand management, a distinct advantage
  • Good working knowledge of computers and ERP.
  • Good Leadership, Analytical & Problem Solving Skills 
  • Age less than 48 years
